Estia – the Hellenic Women’s Cultural Association will host the function A Tribute to Manos Loizos this Sunday.
Manos Loizos was considered one of the most iconic Greek composers of his time. He composed for many famous Greek artists such as Haris Alexiou, George Dalaras and Mikis Theodorakis. Loizos died in the former USSR in 1982. His status was so legendary in Greece that they named 2007 ‘Manos Loizos Year’.
A Tribute to Manos Loizos will take place at Treasury Theatre, Ground Level 1, Macarthur Street, Melbourne on Sunday 16 October at 3 pm. For further information contact Mrs Bisas on (03) 9885 6233.
