Professor Iakovos Michaelidis, an expert in Balkan history from the University of Thessaloniki, will be presenting public lectures in Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra.
An expert in Albanian, Bulgarian, Serbian and the Macedoslav languages, Professor Michaelidis is familiar with the cultural and political environments of the aforementioned countries. He has been published extensively on the history of the Balkans peoples and is an Associate Professor of Modern and Contemporary Greek History. He is coming as a visiting Professor of the AIMS and the Greek Studies program of the University of Notre Dame Australia.
