The Port Melbourne Neighbourhood House (PMNH) have weekly English classes for all age groups and all levels of English. The ESL classes are for beginners, intermediate and advanced levels, and there is also a literacy, reading and writing class.
The classes are reasonably priced with further discounts for concession card holders as they are funded by the Adult Community and Further Education. Whether one has lived in Australia for 40 years or five weeks, these classes can cater to all requirements and standards. The philosophy behind the classes is not only to improve the English skills of our students, but to create a friendly, inclusive atmosphere which enhances their confidence and their ability to communicate effectively.
This will help the student to improve their skills in preparing for work or life in Australia All courses focus on improving reading, writing, listening and speaking providing a foundation for a successful transition to Australian work and life.
