This year, more Australians are opting to holiday in Victoria rather than Queensland and New South Wales says the Roy Morgan Research holiday tracking survey.
The results showed that Australians choosing to travel to Queensland dropped three per cent and New South Wales dropped by four per cent as a holiday destination of choice around the festive season.
With a strong Australian dollar, and cheap travel, Australians are choosing to travel internationally.
