The Zakynthian Association will be celebrating St Dionysios with a feast day on Saturday 17 December.

St Dionysios is the patron saint of Zakynthos and was born on the island in 1546. Known as the “walking saint”, it is said that St Dionysios walks from his tomb when he needs to perform a miracle. So much so that his slippers need replacing because they receive so much wear.

The Feast Day of St Dionysios will take place at St Dionysios Greek Orthodox Church, 1639 Nurses Rd, Central Mangrove on Saturday 17 December for a full day of entertainment and activities.
