The history of the Hellenes of Sydney has finally been developed into a website for all to see and search. The website entitled “Dictionary of Sydney” took three years to produce.

Dr Panayioti Diamandis, whose research and writing headed the website – alongside other contributors – said it’s more than just a website as it features rare images, links, maps, sounds, and plethora of historical information about Hellenes in Sydney. “It was an honour to be asked to produce this work and I am very excited it is now online and there for all the world to see,” said Dr Diamandis.

The project has been funded to date largely from an Australian Research Council (ARC) grant with some additional support from other partners.
