Louis Vuitton are suing Warner Bros. over a comment made by actor Zach Galifianakis in the flick The Hangover Part II. The comment – which has become somewhat of a catchphrase for the movie – see the actor who plays a drug-taking mindless man, say when holding the company bags, “careful… that’s a Louis Vuitton”.
It is reported that Vuitton, offended by this line in the movie, have sought legal advice to sue the film giant. They have apparently asked for the line to re removed as well as any footage of fake Vuitton bags.
However, if the producers of The Hangover Part II can claim that this line is somewhat of a catchphrase, they have the legal trademark of the said line meaning, well they can sue Vuitton if they see fit. Who’s laughing now Louis?
