Sydney’s Powerhouse Museum has appointed four new Trustees this year, Minister for the Arts, George Souris announced. Lawyer and international businessman John Barbouttis is one of the Museum’s newly appointed board members.
He is currently also the CEO and commodore of the elite Royal Motor Yatch Club, whose members also include Wizard Home Loans founder Mark Bouris, Channel Ten’s boss Nick Falloon, and fashion designers Lisa Ho and Charlie Brown.
All four Trustees, Robert Cameron, Tim Ebbeck, James Langley and John Barbouttis are influential members of the community in New South Wales and will be joining fellow custodian Prof Shirley Alexander, Trisha Dizon Burkitt, Helen Sham-Ho and Judith Wheeldon AM on the nine-member Broad.
