ABOUT THE PRACTICE: My practice is a general practice but I concentrate on commercial, criminal, wills and deceased estates.
SPECIALTY: My speciality is negotiation, and I can negotiate any type of scenario whether it be criminal commercial.
WHAT’S IT LIKE BEING A LAWYER: I always advise young people not to study law. It’s a very emotionally tough industry, you’re often criticised by the very people you help the most.
STRANGEST REQUEST: I recently represented a lady who won $5 million in Tattslotto and her partner wanted to end it with her, after they had loving five-year relationship. After a sudden windfall, it’s not happy days anymore.
DEALING WITH GREED: I still try and maintain the view that 90 per cent of people are good, but you are constantly challenged. I am proud to say, Greek clients are really good. I started with a $10 desk and it was the Greeks who supported me from day one.
