This year the Australian Archeological Institute at Athens (AAIA) and the University of Queensland will be working together to help students embark on a research and study trip to Greece during the summer semester. The institute will be providing support to the course by giving away two scholarships, which subsidised awardees’ expenses during the trip to Greece.
The course, called “Ancient World Study Tour” is run by Dr Amelia Brown from the University of Queensland. The work of the Zagora Project will also be presented in a series of conferences this year, including the AAIA’s “Zagora in Context” conference in Athens in May, which will be presented by the project’s team members Dr Stavros Paspalas, Ms Beatrice McLoughlin, Dr Matt McCallum, Professor Margaret C. Miller and Dr Lesley Beaumont.
