The Pancretan Association of Melbourne – Australia will soon be celebrating its 40th anniversary with a dinner and dance event.
Established in 1972, The Pancretan Association of Melbourne – Australia has been an integral part of the Greek community. It was first set up to unify the Rethimnian Association of Melbourne – Australia (Arkadi) and the Pancretan Brotherhood of Melbourne and Victoria. Since its inception, the association has continued to unite the Hellenes of Cretan descent that had arrived as migrants in Australia, and help them in their settlement period.
The 40th year anniversary will reunite all former presidents of the association, committee members, ladies auxiliaries, youth committees, dance groups, soccer committees and teams, so they can be awarded certificates for their contribution to the community.
The 40th Anniversary Dinner Dance will take place on Saturday 18 February at Kritiko Horia, 90 Cathis Lane, Wantirna South with special guest musicians Sifis Tsourdalakis and Manolis Kaklis. For more information and tickets, call Aggie Mihelakis on 0439 324 445 or Manuel Starakis on 0411 455 183. Tickets are $70 per person.
