This Sunday the community of Oakleigh and the wider Monash municipality will be served with a special treat of fabulous food, family fun events and a number of community happenings featured as part of the Oakleigh Music Festival. Oakleigh Music Festival Day is a free community celebration held in the picturesque Warrawee Park from 12:00 until 6:00 pm.
Those who will make it to the park will be treated with music events of different tunes and cultures ranging from traditional Indian to hip-hop. Some events to watch out for are local icons Manasis who will be sure to put on a ripper of a show demonstrating Greek music through the ages.
“Our program offers audiences a glimpse of the amazing artistic life in suburban Oakleigh with a line up of events that sees performances by the smallest community group along-side some of Australia’s best musicians,” Monash Mayor Stefanie Perri.
