The Ladies Auxiliary with the assistance of the Box Hill Greek Orthodox Community, took part in The Global Fiesta as part of the Multiculturalism Celebrations last Saturday.
This is the first time the Ladies Auxiliary participated in this event, and, with their participation were able to share Greek culture with the wider community. Many people of the Greek Orthodox Community, thoroughly enjoyed the festivities. The students of the Greek language schools performed traditional dances on centre stage with their proud parents and grandparents looking on.
The Ladies Auxiliary would like to thank those who attended the festival and contributed to the great success. They would also like to thank and acknowledge the assistance of the younger generation of volunteers who assisted.
