Mildura will be getting a taste of Greece soon with the Festival of the Olives to be held at the Old Mildura Homestead. A great event to spend time with you family and friends, there will be plenty going on to appeal to visitors of all ages.
For the young ones, there will be plenty of kids entertainment including a jumping castle, and for the grown-ups there will be a special guest appearance from comedian George Kapiniaris. Of course it’s not a Greek festival unless there’s dancing, which the Greek Lyceum Dancers from Adelaide and the Robinvale Greek Dancers will gladly provide.
Festival of the Olives will take place at the Old Mildura Homestead on Sunday 6 May from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. The gold coin donation on entry will go to the local Murray Venturer Scouts. For more information on the event email pag@smecc.org.au
