The Victorian Government launched their vision for young people – Engage, Involve, Create at the Victoria’s Young Thinkers’ forum this week.
Launched by the Minister for Youth Affairs Ryan Smith he said the statement outlined the Coalition Government’s vision for Victorians aged 12 to 25.
“Young Victorians play a significant role in building a vibrant Victoria,” Mr Smith said.
“While many young Victorians are successfully facing challenges that are unique to their generation, there remain some who will need more support to ensure they can play an active role in our social, economic and community life.”
Engage, Involve, Create is the start of a discussion with young people, governments, youth and community sectors, and business and philanthropic sectors, on how to provide the best possible opportunities for young Victorians.
