The boys from the GoTo Foundation presented the Flinders University Autism Early Intervention Program (EIRP) with a $50,000 cheque on Monday night.
The GoTo Foundation – established by long-time friends George Diakomichalis, Nick Apostolou, Lewis Pounentis – have so far raised around $75,000 for the program but they have a target of $100,000 in their sights.
“It was very rewarding because we’ve given something back to the community but it’s ultimately going direct to help autistic children and it makes a direct difference,” Diakomichalis told Neos Kosmos.
“Waiting lists have disappeared due to this so something can get done straight away which is absolutely brilliant and makes the time and effort that goes into this – that is demanding – very rewarding. Not only for us but everybody who’s helped us along the way.”
