The Greek gods were shining on HACCI’s Classic Golf Day as the drizzly Melbourne weather cleared up for a full day of golf for those involved.
Thirty eight of the best Australian Hellenes and Philhellene’s gathered at the Peninsula Country Golf Club in Frankston to play a friendly match between players of all levels.
Last year’s winning team the Port Boys reluctantly passed on the 2012 HACCI golf trophy to the Real Deal, with a special congratulations going out to Conn Pasakos, Peter Xynas, Con Stergiotis and Kon Nentis.
A BBQ was held for all in attendance that went well into the evening, with a guest brining along a guitar and sparking an impromptu night of Greek dance and song.
The event was held by HACCI, with the support of its main sponsor the Bank of Cyprus Australia, and event sponsors: Golf Clearance Outlet; Australian Hellenic Golf Federation; Enosis International; Aventori Logistics; and The Albert Park Deli.
