Greek Australian power singer Diana Rouvas is proving to Australia she has what it takes to be the best voice in Australia. Diana is part of country singer Keith Urban’s team on the hit channel nine show The Voice.
The 28-year-old is the daughter of two musicians and singing teachers. Diana found herself singing at the age of four and writing songs at eight. A woman who has lived and breathed music, Diana dropped out of high school to get that elusive deal in the US but returned home fruitless.
Back in Australia, Diana auditioned for the first Australian version of The Voice with the hit Beyonce song Work it out. After Keith Urban hit his big red buzzer he was happy with what was revealed when he turned around at the blind auditions to see the Greek Australian singer. And now, Diana is in the final four of Team Keith battling it out with other singers from the other teams – including Team Delta (singer Delta Goodrem); Team Seal (singer Seal); and Team Joel (singer Joel Madden of Good Charlotte) – to win the title of The Voice.
Watch The Voice on Monday night on channel nine, at 7:30 pm to see whether or not Diana Rouvas will get to the next stage of the competition.
