As a mark of respect to those who lost their lives defending freedom in Cyprus, the Justice for Cyprus Coordination Committee SA will be holding a memorial service in the morning, followed by a wreath laying ceremony and short cultural program around Adelaide.
The series of events will mark the 38th Anniversary of the Turkish Invasion of Cyprus on Sunday 15 July
Details are as follows:
10.30am: Memorial Service at the Holy Church of “Saint Anthony Church, 65-67 Milner Street, Prospect.
1.00pm: Wreath Laying Ceremony, at the Cross of Sacrifice, Pennington Gardens East, Corner of Pennington Terrace and King William Road, North Adelaide.
2.00pm: Short Cultural Program, at the Cyprus Community Club Rooms, 6-8 Barpowell Street, Welland.
Refreshments and finger food will be provided.
