19-year-old Adam Gotsis from Abbotsford, Melbourne, has been drafted to play American football in the United States. The Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta hand-picked the young Greek-Australian, who is USA-bound soon, while he was training under the watchful eye of Sydney coach Paul Manera.
The rising sports star, who started playing the contact sport when he was 13, has played for Australia in Hawaii and Austria and will be going for the linesman position in his new college football team.
Along with his big US break, Adam Gotsis will be given a scholarship for four year degree, where he will be studying Business Administration Management. Following his degree, he hopes to go into a year-long draft into the NFL.
