A 37-year-old man died following a fireworks explosion at a christening ceremony in Nea Manolada, in the Peloponnese.
The man’s hands were severed following the homemade device’s explosion, while he also suffered severe third-degrees burns to his upper body.
He was taken to hospital where he died of his injuries.
