City of Perth councillor Eleni Evangel has her sights set on the state seat of Perth and is making this with her campaign launch this Sunday at the Perth Soccer Club.
As a long-standing member of the Liberal Party, Ms Evangel was asked by the party to win the state seat at the next election.
“I love the work that Colin Barnett is doing with his team. But as a leader he’s just excelling, he’s a man of action.,” she told Perth Now earlier this year.
Ms Evangel was elected to the City of Perth in 2005, and says “the fact that [she has] actually been on council for the past six years has provided a wonderful plethora of experiences for [her] and it’s allowed [her] to directly connect with [her] constituents”.
