The South Australian government has announced it is taking nominations for The Governor’s Multicultural Awards.
The Multicultural Awards celebrate outstanding South Australian organisations and individuals who help promote multiculturalism and increase understanding of the benefits of cultural diversity and community.
Eight award categories this year will include: the Arts and Culture Award, Community Sector Awards, Media Awards, Private Sector Award, Public Sector Award, Volunteer Award, Youth Awards, and Outstanding Individual Achievement Award. Individual and organisation nominees are being accepted for the Community Sector, Media and Youth Awards.
By celebrating outstanding individuals and organisations who represent ethnic communities, the Governor’s award aim to promote cultural diversity and community harmony.
To nominate, send a completed nomination form, available online, with a supporting statement of up to 500 words to: Multicultural SA, 24 Flinders St, Adelaide SA 5000 or multicultural@sa.gov.au.
