A lecture on ‘Alexander as a Hellenic Hero’ presented by Dr Vasilis Adrahtas, Greek Studies Program at Macquarie University will be held. The lecture has been organised as part of the the year-long programme of events to celebrate the centenary of the liberation of Thessaloniki and western Macedonia, launched by the Pan-Macedonian Association and the Australian Hellenic Council (NSW). The lecture will be held on Friday 12 October, at 7:30 pm at the Alexander the Great Macdonian Club, 160 Livingstone Road, Marrickville.
