Greek passengers have topped the list for arrivals in Melbourne airport of all the European passengers for the first quarter of the year with 17.1 per cent of passengers at Tullamarine holders of a Greek passport.
Again, Greek topped the list for the month of September, with 33.4 per cent of passengers holders of a Greek passport, followed by Italy with 20.3 per cent, Russia with 19.9 per cent and Spain with 12.2 per cent.
In July this year, passengers with Greek passports topped the list for European travellers with a high 14.2 per cent, followed by Ireland with 13.6 per cent, then Italy with 10.6 per cent.
International and domestic passenger numbers at Melbourne airport increased by 6 per cent during the first quarter of 2012/13. The total passengers for this period was 7,451,583.
