Harry Kewell has arrived in Perth to play in a charity golf tournament but has no plans to talk to Perth Glory about a possible A-League contract.
The Socceroos star said he talked to Glory owner Tony Sage on Melbourne Cup day but not about playing for Perth.
“We talked about horse racing and were enjoying the Cup,” Kewell told Fox Sports.
“I’m very keen to play football again and if the situation with my family wasn’t what it was I’d be still playing with Melbourne Victory.”
