Rumours are rife, but who will be the celebrity candidates for the 2013 season of Celebrity Apprentice? One thing is for certain, businessman Mark Bouris is set to be the show’s boss again.
So far, celebrities rumoured to be taking part are Olympic swimmer Stephanie Rice, male model Kris Smith, former politician Amanda Vanstone and national sporting hero Dawn Fraser.
The series centres around celebrities who try and impress Bouris with their business and management skills, all in the hope of being the last one standing, without hearing the dreaded words: “You’re fired”. The winner of Celebrity Apprentice then raises money for the charity of their choice.
Other names being considered are Big Brother favourite Layla Subritzky, as well as fellow BB house mate Ben, along with former child star Nikki Webster, ex-AFL player Dermott Brereton, comedian Peter Berner and right wing publicist Prue Macsween.
Last year, Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson won, raising some very healthy bucks for his charity of choice, The Australian Children’s Music Foundation. Meanwhile, the career of the winner of the 2011 series, actor and comedian Julia Morris has powered along, including being part of the successful TV drama House Husbands.
