Adelaide United will decide on the coaching future of the team this weekend and Michael Valkanis is tipped to nab the top job.
There is some doubt though, with the team’s poor performance of late weighing heavily on the decision making.
Valkanis must get the approval of the coaching selection committee which was put in place after John Kosmina quit.
Owner Bruno Marveggio and ex Socceroos Alex Tobin, Craig Foster and John Perin and Port Adelaide conditioning chief Darren Burgess will decide on a head coach this weekend.
In the last round, Adelaide United has the chance to jump into third place if they win against Perth Glory tonight and if Victory don’t win their last game. As United had dominated the first half of the season in second place, third place is deserving of them.
