For the first time, South Melbourne FC will compete in the annual Sydney Youth Cup and Sydney Junior Cup 2013.
The teams arrive on Monday when Sydney hosts one of the largest annual youth football tournaments.
Both tournaments will kick off on the 1st week of the July school holidays which is the 30th June and run for 6 days ending on the 5th July 2013.
The tournament is open to State League, Association, Primary and Secondary School teams from Sydney, NSW, all around Australia and overseas.
Each team will play a minimum of 4 games each with the first few days in a round robin style format moving into a knock-out stage and then finals.
The Sydney Junior Cup is aimed at ages U8 – U11, these teams can be boys, girls or mixed teams.
The Sydney Youth Cup is aimed at ages U12 – U18 (boys and girls), each age group will be split up into boys and girls competitions.
