Nick Kyrigios will only be playing junior singles and doubles in this years’ Wimbledon Tournament, after being overlooked as a wildcard in the main draw.
Ranked as the world No. 1 in juniors, the 18-year-old was listed as an alternate for qualifying for the English tournament, but missed out on one of the five discretionary wildcards – one of which was awarded to Perth’s Matt Ebden.
Kyrigios is now ranked 215th in the world and won the Australian Open boys’ title in January earlier this year.
