The Australian Greek Welfare Society (AGWS) has announced the opening of two new days for Planned Activity Groups (PAG), one for the eastern region (Balwyn centre) and one for the west (Sunshine/St Albans area). These newly funded days are specifically for clients who have a working carer who needs respite from their caring role. These Planned Activity Groups will have the dual benefit of offering elderly clients who are at risk of social isolation the opportunity to socialize with other Greek clients as well as providing working carers with a much needed break.
There are also vacancies in our regular Planned Activity Groups offered in the North, East, West and Southern regions. The AGWS are in need of high care clients who have dementia and who are from the following municipalities: Banyule, Whittlesea, Brimbank, Moreland and Monash.
For more information on this contact Miltos or Anthelia at AGWS on (03) 9388 9998.
