The Australian Ambassador to Greece, Mrs Jenny Bloomfield visited two Greek charities supporting vulnerable women and children alongside representatives of the community group, Hellenic Women of Sydney. They visited “The Smile of the Child” and the Hatzikyriakio Childcare Institution, while handing over some funds raised during the year.
The community group brings together seven Greek Australian women’s associations, that combined have raised over $100,000 in the first half of 2013. The funds raised will be disributed to five Greek organisations.
