Liverpool FC announced the 28-man squad for the pre-season tour to Indonesia, Australia and Thailand. 90,000 plus fans are expected to attend the Melbourne Victory match planned for July 24 at Melbourne’s MCG.
The 12-day international tour for Liverpool also introduces new signings, Luis Alberto, Iago Aspas, Kolo Toure and Simon Mignolet.
Twenty five players leaving this week will be joined on tour by Luis Suarez, Sebastian Coates and Pepe Reina, who have been given extended time off by Brendan Rodgers due to their involvement in the Confederations Cup in Brazil.
Australian goalkeeper Brad Jones is among the group.
Liverpool will take on an Indonesia XI in Jakarta on Saturday 20 July.
The Reds finish their tour against Thailand in Bangkok on 28 July.
