In his first attempt to pre-record a televised address to the nation in order to announce a 10% Value Added Tax reduction in the catering industry (from 23% to 13%), Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras stumbled on his words as he was reading from autocue.

While departing from the podium, before a second attempt to pre-record his address, he was heard muttering “Tha to xanapo. Ga** to kefali mou mala**”, that is “I’ll say it again. F*** my head, w**ker”.

This unfortunate incident for the Greek Prime Minister has already become an instant hit in the country’s social media and has been broadcast on national television.
