Essendon player David Zaharakis has been named as the only Bombers player to have refused the controversial drug suppliment, claimed by former performance manager, Dean Robson.

Channel Seven has claimed that Robinson named 23-year-old Zaharakis in his testimony to the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority as the only player who decided not to be part of the injecting program.

Seven also reported players had been injected before they were asked to sign consent forms.

Zaharakis was signed in 2008 for the Bombers and won Essendon’s best and fairest in 2011. He has played 16 games this season, averaging 23.5 disposals per game.
