The Greek government announced yesterday a seven member supervisory committee that will oversee the creation of the new state broadcaster NERIT.
The proposed committee members are freelance journalist and author Anna Damianidi, journalist Andreas Zoulas, producer and vice president of the Greek Film Center Tatiana Karapanagioti, conductor Lucas Karytinos, National Technical University of Athens rector Simos Simopoulos, president of the University of Athens Law School Theodoros Fortsakis and author Christos Chomenidis.
The committee has to be approved by the Cabinet.
