Series three of the GOCMV seminars continues with a look at Cyprus through the ages.
For a country that has made worldwide headlines this year for all the wrong reasons, with economic woes and bank closures causing community outrage, the history of Cyprus can teach us a lot for the future. Dr Michalis Michael will head the lecture An Introduction to Contemporary Cyprus: Negotiating History and Modernity, that will focus on the legacy historical events can have on the modern condition.
