After a week hiatus with many players called up for international dutites, Super League is back again. Starting proceedings are Panaitolikos and Ergotelis, playing tonight (Sunday EST), but all eyes will be on the ladder leaders, Olympiakos’ game against Xanthi tomorrow.
Oympiakos has had a three game winning streak, the only team to do so, and has cemented their position on top of the ladder. Xanthi haven’t shown any consistency, but sit with one win and one draw at ninth.
Three points bellow the leader sits PAOK, who are up against Veria the same day. Newcomers Kalloni are neck and neck with PAOK, and this week could see them jump up ahead when they come up against fifteenth placed Apollon Smyrnis.
Panathinaikos haven’t had much luck or consistency in their season start, and up against newly promoted Platanias, the Greens might be able to turn things around.
