The documentary Marseilles, A Greek Profile (Μασσαλία, μακρινή κόρη; 2003, 87″), directed by Marcos Gastine, is the story of two waves of Greek immigrants in the French port of Marseilles: the 19th century Greek diaspora traders, and the islanders who came as workers during WWI.
The filmmaker explores the stories through the lives and memories of present-day descendants. A film about the quest for identity, tracing roots and the yearning for a lost paradise.

When: Wednesday 30 October at 8.00 pm
