Oakleigh Cannon’s Youth Team is holding trials to fill in spots for their 2014 Victorian Premier League team.
At the helm once again is head coach Sam Poutakidis, a former player himself, taking out the 2005 Best and Fairest award in the National Soccer League.
For the club this year, nine Youth Team players experienced Senior football and six of these players received A-League Youth Team trials with one receiving a full contract and two offered train on positions.
Trials begin on November 25 at 6.30 pm, with players asked to arrive by 6.00 pm at Scotchman’s Run Reserve, on Estelle Street, Oakleigh. Five dates have been singled out for trials, and will go through till December 4.
