Two senior Greek public servants will participate for the first time in the Australia and New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG)’s Executive Fellows Program (EFP) for senior executives, to be held in Canberra from 11-29 November 2013.
The Greek participation, as it was announced by the Australian Embassy in Athens, is in the context of Australia’s practical support for the Greek reform efforts, and it was made possible by a scholarship from ANZSOG, with other costs met through donations by members of the Hellenic Australian Business Council.
The successful candidates were selected by the Australian and New Zealand side following a close examination of their applications and credentials. The two participants to the program are senior officials in the Greek Ministry of Economy and in the Ministry of Development and Competitiveness.
ANZSOG was established in 2002 as a unique initiative of governments, universities and business schools.
