Minor damage was caused last Sunday when stones were thrown at the windows at the premises of the Pan Macedonian Association of Melbourne & Victoria premises at Victoria Parade, in Clifton Hill – The police are investigating the incident.
Speaking to Neos Kosmos, the President of the Pan Macedonian Association of Melbourne and Victoria Mr Dimitris Minas, stated that around this time of year, our building becomes a target.:
“It appears that the staging of our annual festival Dimitria upsets some people. Certain cowards do not have the courage to oppose our organisation in broad day light try and
intimidate us in the night. These people think that by doing so they can stop us promoting our Macedonia along with its history and culture. We hope that the police investigations is successful and that those responsible are dully punished”, said Mr Minas.
