The presidents of Cretan organisations of Australia in Melbourne visited the newly appointed Consul General of Greece in Melbourne, H.E. Christina Simantiraki this week. The new Consul General – and their compatriot – Ms Simantiraki was welcomed to Melbourne by the president of the World Council of Cretans, Tony Tsourdalakis, the newly elected president of the Cretan Federation of Australia and New Zealand Michalis Houdalakis, the president of the Cretan Brotherhood of Melbourne Dimitris Papadimitriou and president of the Pancretan Association of Melbourne, Ioannis Nikolakakis.
