As part of the Greek Festival of Sydney, a talk From Albania to Ukraine: The Many Faces of Hellenic Culture is to be held by Billy Cotsis.

The Hellenic world is a world without boundaries. With a remarkable history stretching from the southern tip of Africa to the Indian subcontinent, Hellenic communities old and new have survived and evolved. Their members everywhere have extraordinary stories to tell.

Billy Cotsis has travelled to forty-four countries and interviewed dozens of Hellenic people about their lives. His work has been published in London, where he lived for many years, in Australia, where he was born, in Greece and the US.

The lecture will be given in English.

When: Tuesday 4 March at 6.30 pm
Where: Parliament of NSW, Waratah Room, Macquarie Street, Sydney
Cost : The entry is free
