A new drama centre has been created for young children to be more involved in the creative arts. Under an initiative of the Greek Community of Melbourne, the Creative Drama and Arts Centre aimed at children who love creating, theatrical expression, play, experimentation, learning and more related with the Fine Arts.
The centre will allow Greek students in Melbourne to speak Greek – at whatever level they are at – and express their emotions, feelings, character and to show off their personality through their theatrical meanderings. It will also present a way for the youth to participate in the artistic lifestyle of our community.

Performances will be held throughout the year for parents, family and friends to involve themselves with the education the students will be receiving.

The Creative Drama and Arts Centre will be held at the premises of Alphington Grammar on a weekly basis.

Tuition is only $200 for this year, because the start of the course will be from the second half on May 1. The courses will be held after school hours during 5:00 – 6:30 pm. These hours may be changed depending on the age and number of students. At the moment, the ages of tuition are junior 5 – 7 years, children 8-11 years and adolescents aged 12 + years
