Greek media sources are reporting Socceroos coach Ange Postecoglou is being sounded out by Greek football officials to take over as head of the country’s national side.
Officials here say that move is unlikely, with the Socceroos boss contracted with the Football Federation Australia until 2018.
Athens-born Postecoglou has coached the Socceroos since 2013, leading them to the 2015 Asian Cup championship.
Kostas Tsanas has been Greece’s interim coach since Sergio Markarian’s departure in July.
