It has been a turbulent time in Greek sports. First PAOK owner Ivan Savvidis invaded the pitch with a holstered gun, and now the drama extends to the country’s Basketball League.
On Sunday things got heated in the first quarter between Kymis B.C. and Panionios B.C., when a brawl kicked off between opponents.
A video shows Panionios’s Slaven Čupković and Kymis opponent Sotirios Manolopoulos pushing one another around, before Čupković throws a headbutt Manolopoulos’ way.
Their teammates quickly managed to break up the fight before it went any further.
Both players were suspended.
