A body found on the Greek island of Evia has been identified as the remains of a man reported missing a week ago following a severe storm that struck central and southern Greece.
The 67-year-old was reported missing on Sunday 30 September, along with his wife, 58, after their car was found abandoned, reports AP.
The remains of the man were located five kilometres away from the car on a rocky shore.
Identified by the Greek coast guard, they confirmed that the search for the man’s wife continues.
