Lefteris Petrounias added another feather in his cap, winning the world championship title in the rings on Friday in Doha, despite suffering from shoulder injury.
Scoring 15,366 points in the final – 266 points more than his nearest rival, Brazil’s Arthur Zanetti – the Olympic champion won his third title in a row.
The Greek gymnast remains unbeaten in the last two-and-a-half years and has now collected nine gold medals in major tournaments.
