Two highly dangerous inmates have escaped from the Greek capital’s maximum security penitentiary overnight.
The Albanian brothers who were serving time for multiple theft and robbery convictions had managed to cut the bars to their cells without being noticed and made it out on Wednesday evening (local time).
Making their way to a courtyard, the criminal duo used a makeshift hook and rope to climb over the facility’s main wall, without being noticed by surveillance or any guards on shift.
Meanwhile, another prisoner has been causing a stir in Greece.
